Peştera cu Oase este situată pe versantul drept al văii Minişului, în judeţul Caraş - Severin, în apropiere de Anina. O mandibulă descoperită în 2002 şi un craniu ale cărui fragmente au fost gasite în alte trei campanii de cercetări, între 2003 şi 2005, prezintă atât trăsături ale omului modern, cât şi pe cele ale omului de Neanderthal. Vechimea oaselor depăşeşte 32.000 de ani.
