„BANATerra“ is a project developed by Project Rastko Romania Association from Timisoara.

Why „BANATerra“?

Simple. Because the Banat fully deserves such a initiative. Because the time is ripe to gather in one place, data about peoples and places. Because going through this possible encyclopedia, anyone who is interested can learn about this history and tradition rich region. You may ask why not call it "The Banat Encylcopedia"? We considered that would be too much. BANATerra won't be a true encylcopedia, a work based on rigorous academic research. But it can be the basis for one. A multimedia encyclopedia. Where you cand find text, images, audio and video files.
